Bachelors and Masters Research Projects
Students who are interested in participating in Host-Microbiome Interaction research should have completed courses in microbiology, molecular biology, biomedical sciences, biotechnology and/or practical courses in related fields. For representative research lines look at our Research page.
PhD Thesis
PhD projects address molecular mechanisms of microbiome and their host, including the approaches in molecular microbiology, biotechnology, biological engineering, analytical chemistry, or genetics. A successful applicant will have, or expect to obtain:
MSc or equivalent
Research experience in cell biology, molecular biology, (medical) microbiology, synthetic biology or biotechnology, immunology, or a closely related discipline
Good written and oral communication skills in English
A team player
